A perfect test of your summer training. Designed with beginners in mind, the race begins with a 1/3 mile swim in the beautiful waters of Ossipee Lake. This time of year water temperatures will be in the mid 70’s. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but recommended. Scenic roadways of Freedom, Tamworth, and West Ossipee make up the 10.83 mile bike course. Enjoy the beautiful rolling landscape. Complete your race with a 3.1 mile out and back run on Ossipee Lake Road. The event is open to all ability groups age 12 and up.

Available for swimmers and bikers. NO running necessary! Your race is over after completing the 10.83 mile bike section of the triathlon. At your leisure make your way to the finish line to pick up your medal. This event is for everyone that doesn’t enjoy the run of a triathlon.

 

Available for land lovers. Begin with a 2 mile run before joining the other athletes for the 10.83 mile bike and 3.1 mile run.

A great way to challenge your ability before the season’s end. The race begins with a .9 mile swim in the beautiful water of Ossipee Lake. This time of year water temperatures will be in the mid 70’s. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but recommended. Scenic roadways of Freedom, Tamworth, West Ossipee, Madison make up the 20.03 mile bike course. Complete your race with a 6.2 mile out and back run on Ossipee Lake Road. The event is open to all ability groups age 14 and up. Check the FAQ page for race cut-off times.

The DOUBLE

THE DOUBLE is a true test of triathlon technique and endurance. Compete in Saturday’s Sprint Distance and Sunday’s Long Course (70.3) Triathlon. The Double is open to all ages 18 and up.

Will test your summer training. The challenge will begin with a 1.2 mile swim in the beautiful water of Ossipee Lake. This time of year water temperatures will be in the mid 70’s. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but recommended. Scenic roadways of Freedom, Tamworth, West Ossipee, Moultonborough, and Sandwich N.H. make up a challenging 55.9 mile bike course. No need to panic. You will complete the Long Course with a 13.1 mile run through the town of Freedom. After completing this event you will truly be an “IRON” Quality Athlete! The event is open to all ability groups age 16 and up. Check the FAQ page for race cut-off times.

Available for swimmers and bikers. NO running necessary! Your race is over after completing the 55.9 mile bike section of the triathlon. At your leisure make your way to the finish line to pick up your medal. This event is for everyone that doesn’t enjoy the run of a triathlon.

The LONG COURSE DISTANCE DUATHLON is available for land lovers. Begin with a 2 mile run before joining the other athletes for the 55.9 mile bike and 13.1 mile run.

The race begins with a 1/3 mile swim in the beautiful waters of Ossipee Lake. The scenic trail system of Freedom and Madison make up the 12 mile bike course. Complete your race with a 3.1 mile trail run. The event is open to all ability groups age 12 and up.

The DUATHLON is available for land lovers. Begin with a 2 mile run into the transition area where you will join the other athletes to complete the bike and run course. The Duathlon Division is open to all ability groups age 12 and up.

The race begins with a 1.2 mile PADDLE ( sup, kayak, or canoe) in the beautiful waters of Ossipee Lake. The scenic trail system of Freedom and Madison make up the 12 mile bike course. Complete your race with a 3.1 mile trail run. The event is open to all ability groups age 12 and up.
